“I think the quality of our product is key ­— and also how quick and efficient we are in our production,” said Irving Figueroa, the operations manager. “This is a material that cannot be stored for a long time. You cannot have big quantities of inventory, so how quickly we turn around and serve our customers is important to our success.”

The operation based in Delray Beach, Florida produces about 350,000 yards of mulch annually, and it continues to grow year over year. The business serves customers from the Florida Keys to Central Florida.
